AN OPPORTUNITY IN DORVAL...
Église 21 / Church 21 is a family of congregations in the Greater Montreal Area focused on forging followers of Jesus to centre their lives on the gospel, participate in community, live on His mission, contribute to planting churches, and share ministries and resources to serve one another and the city.
Since 2010, we’ve planted six English congregations, one French one, and by the end of 2026 we plan to establish a seventh English congregation, our second French congregation, and our very first Spanish congregation. 🎉
In all of this time, Church 21 has always been a renter. However, in partnership with “Reach Montreal,” we are for the first time stepping into property ownership, and are running our first ever capital campaign toward this end. The aim of this campaign is to raise the funds necessary for the purchase and renovation of the church building at 298 Brookhaven.
This acquisition allows for the Church 21 West Island congregation to continue to have a worship space home and a more permanent, incarnational presence in the community, at a time when the government is
no longer giving out religious zoning for churches.
WHAT IS "REACH MONTREAL"?
In July of 2022, the legal membership of Reach Montreal Baptist Church voted to migrate both members and property to join with Église 21 / Church 21.
The Reach Montreal Baptist Church legal charter still exists and is managed by a board of directors composed of Église 21 / Church 21 pastors and Church 21 West Island Partners, and is in the final stages of (re)purchasing 298 Brookhaven, which is the historical home of this congregation.
